In the last few weeks, I spent more than I usually do on food and started eating out more frequently again. With the nice weather, it's really easy to get sucked back in the habit of getting drinks with friends and going out to restaurants. Fortunately, this didn't last long and because I track all my expenses on Mint, I can easily see where the money is going. I need better planning when I go out like eating before hand so I'm not starving. A lot of times when I go out with friends, it's a last minute decision and I don't want to feel left out.
I'm still in the process of wanting to get rid of my car. I have been contemplating it for a while, it just seems easier to wait until July 2016 then having to try and transfer it to someone else. I need to get out of my comfort zone and just do it.
My current goals are still to bring my emergency fund back to $1,000 but doesn't seem like an urgency when I know I have lawyer fees and a bridesmaids dress to pay for in the near future. Although, I did decide to go to New York City in the summer, I want to start making travel a priority. I've always put off traveling because I thought I couldn't afford it. I can say for once, I won't be putting my trip on a credit card.
